Before using AI through LitigationVault.ai, it is important that you understand what this platform does and does not do. Please review the following key points:
Every AI response on this platform includes a disclaimer identifying it as computer-generated analysis. Your assigned attorney reviews vaulted conversations but does not independently verify every factual statement made by the AI. The AI does not have access to your complete legal file, court records, or opposing counsel's arguments unless you provide them.
When you ask a question on the Platform, your query is sent to the AI provider you selected (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or a private model) via enterprise API endpoints with Zero Data Retention agreements. The AI generates a response based on its training data, which is then encrypted and stored in your vault. Your assigned attorney is notified and can review the conversation.
AI responses are generated in real time and are not pre-reviewed by an attorney before you see them. The attorney review happens after the response is vaulted. This means you may see AI output that is incorrect or incomplete before your attorney has had a chance to review it.
Retainer agreement establishes attorney-client relationship
All conversations encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit
AI providers operate under Zero Data Retention agreements
Attorney reviews create the direction element required for privilege
Complete audit trail maintained for privilege verification
By using this platform, you accept the following responsibilities:
I will review all AI-generated responses critically and not rely on them as legal advice
I will consult with my assigned attorney for legal guidance on my specific situation
I will not share my vault access credentials with anyone
I will provide accurate information about my legal matter to receive relevant analysis
I understand that AI responses may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information
I will notify my attorney of any time-sensitive legal deadlines or upcoming court dates
The Platform currently supports Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), and privately-hosted models. All AI providers operate under enterprise agreements with Zero Data Retention. Your data is never used to train AI models. We may add or remove AI providers with notice to users.
Documents uploaded to the Platform are encrypted and stored in your vault. They may be submitted to AI providers for analysis under the same ZDR protections. Uploaded documents are not accessible to other users or to LitigationVault.ai staff (except your assigned attorney).
We do not guarantee any particular legal outcome, the accuracy of AI-generated responses, or that a court will uphold privilege over your vaulted communications. The Platform is a tool to help you access AI analysis within a structure designed for privilege protection. Your legal outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of this platform.
Your subscription fee covers platform access, AI usage, vaulting services, and standard attorney review. Extended attorney consultations, document drafting, or legal representation beyond vaulting review are billed separately at your attorney's stated rate. See our Terms of Service for complete billing details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access through the end of your current billing period. You will have 30 days after cancellation to export your vaulted data. Your vaulted data will be retained in accordance with our data retention policy for privilege preservation purposes.
